I am a psychologist by training and have been passionate about yoga and dance for many years. For me, yoga is a way of learning to relax within the action. It teaches us to surrender to the various postures and to any tensions in the body. I see yoga as a part of mindfulness in which we learn to be one with our internal world by fully accepting our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations and stopping the internal struggle. This is much more than an exercise to reduce our stress, it is a whole new way of living. I also like to combine mindfulness with art therapy and I give workshops in which participants can express their emotions in a creative way through movement, sound and image.
