Healing Herbal Workshop

About the Workshop

Springtime is the perfect period of the year to explore and discover the world of the plants. Trees are becoming green and all sorts of plants are finding their way to the sunlight, growing from seed to flower. Also we as human beings, coming from the dark wintertime, are feeling ourselves more light. The perfect moment to shed our old skin and to rejuvenate ourselves in different ways.

In this workshop you learn more about those plants who offer us healing and rejuvenation and how to use them. You learn more about different trees, herbs and roots by using our senses; smelling, tasting, feeling, hearing and seeing.

In the morning session we will make together a health syrup of 8 different herbs, after we examined these herbs in detail. Afterwards, while the herbs are extracting and our syrup is in the making, we will go outside and explore the garden to find and examine several healing herbs and trees.

In the afternoon session we start with a 5 Elements Meditation to connect ourselves with the 5 primal elements: Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Ether. From here we dive into the world of Aromatherapy and create a deeper awareness about how we and the healing herbs are connected with these 5 primal elements. To close this workshop we will learn how to make our own heartwarming balm, using several essential oils.
