Basics of Yoga Training (50 hrs)

7 day immersion in the ancient wisdom and practice of Yoga


This training is designed to enrich or start your daily yoga practice and learn more about how to apply yoga to your daily life. You will learn about yoga in its physical application (asana), as well as the internal application (meditation and philosophy). For those who 'd like to continue on this path it could be a great preparation for the Yoga Teacher Training.


What will you learn in this training?

  • How to set up your home practice

  • How to stay inspired to practice

  • The philosophy of yoga and how to apply it in your daily life

  • The different branches of yoga (not just the physical)

  • The meaning and chanting of mantras

  • To develop a closer relationship with stillness

  • The nature of karma and how we can stop the vicious cycles

About your stay

You'll stay at Akasha Retreat Center for 7 days, where you can get in touch with the power of the sangha (community of like minded people). You’ll be nourished with vegetarian organic food, freshly prepared by our international team.

11h30 – 13:00 Lecture

13:30 Lunch

14h30 – 15h Karma Yoga

16h – 18h Workshop

18h30 – 20h: Dinner

20h – 21h: Mantra & Meditation
